Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, on Tuesday visited President Bola Tinubu at his residence in Lagos.
Tinubu has been in Lagos since last week, where he inaugurated several projects and will remain in the state until the Sallah celebrations are over.
It was learnt that Fubara’s meeting with Tinubu may not be unconnected to the ongoing state of emergency in Rivers State.

Tinubu declared the state of emergency for six months and suspended Fubara, his deputy, and members of the State Assembly.
The President has since appointed a sole administrator to preside over the state.
Recently, Fubara met with his estranged political godfather, Nyesom Wike for reconciliation.
Wike practically installed Fubara as his successor as Rivers governor, inspite of stiff opposition from some stakeholders in the state.
